Good to Know

Frequently Asked Questions

What Do I Bring?

A Bible, pen or pencil, warm clothing, jacket, towel, toiletries, flashlight and a willing heart for the Lord!

What If I'm Registered in a Cabin?

Bring a sleeping bag and pillow.

Can I Organize a Carpool?

Absolutely! We highly recommend that each church organize a carpool. Space can be tight for parking, so ride with friends and save gas money.

When Does Registration Open at Camp Sugarpine?

Registration will be on Friday evening at 5:00 pm.

Should I Bring Spending Money?

Camp Sugarpine has a gift and snack shop where you can purchase books, hats, t-shirts and more. They also have vending machines available.

What Else Should I Bring?

An appetite, a smile and a good attitude! Camp Sugarpine has some of the best camp food around. We will also open up the Friendship House on Friday and Saturday night where you will find some sort of snack and hot drink available.

How Do I Get There?

The camp is located approximately five (5) miles above the Bass Lake turn off on Highway 41. Watch for the "Sugarpine" sign on the right side of the road.

Is There Anything To Do During Our Free Time?

The camp has a few hiking trails in the area and fishing at Sugarpine Lake. If you're one of those musically inclined individuals, bring a guitar or harmonica. If that's not your thing, ping pong, basketball, disc golf, foosball and air hockey are available. If that still doesn't interest you, then you can sit quietly somewhere with a friend, or read God's Word while enjoying the beauty of Camp Sugarpine.
